I bought my first boat, a used boat, and was treated as if I purchased a brand new one. But one thing I think people should know about Dave's, their service is second to none. I was on my way fishing one morning at 4:30am and noticed that the lights were on in the shop. I stopped on my way home and asked Dan and Rev what was going on so early. They told me that they had some boats that they wanted to get their customers. How many dealers do that. I can tell you first hand with the service that the staff gives you when you walk in the door. I often wondered how they got anything done because they always took the time to answer all my questions. If anyone is looking for a boat you will not find any place better. Thanks Terry. Chris and Liz Vignali "We can do anything." That's what Rev said to me when I asked about rigging a new Hurricane Sundeck 237. This was my first boat purchase, and I wanted everything done right. All the folks at Dave's Sport Marine went above and beyond, not only putting up with my 100 phone calls with questions and recommendations, but finding the right parts and installing them with fit and finish that looks factory done. I also relied in large part on their boating expertise to recommend specific setup options, since I'm a new boater and don't know what works best on the water. Despite my lack of experience, Rev and Amy were very receptive to my suggestions, and I felt very comfortable with the entire process. And to top it all off when the boat was delivered Rev had a cold beer waiting for me, and it was great to hang out and help make some rigging decisions and just talk boats. First couple times out on the water, and I can say they definitely know what they're doing. From motor and prop selection, all the way down to the placement of accessories to make sure nothing is in the way, the boat just fits like a glove! "We can do anything" is what I kept hearing, and Dave's Sport Marine definitely follows through! If there's a better place to purchase a boat I'll never find out! It was above and beyond your responsibility. The "rock" just appeared! Also, would like to tell you that since I purchased this Polar Kraft 169FS & Yamaha 115 4-stroke from you, the compliments I received have been outstanding. This unit has seen many water hours all over Wisconsin and Canada. It is a top-notch pleasure craft as well as an excellent fishing unit. A great site Steve Zangl Purchased an 1850 Fish Hawk / Yamaha 150 HPDI from Dave's Sport and Marine in April 2004. Dan took a great deal of time assisting me rig the boat exactly right. We took the boat out for a run this weekend during a walleye tournament in Oshkosh. The rig turned quite a few heads, even next to the Rangers.
